Social Studies - Where We Live

Phonics... we spelled as many words as we could with the beginning /d/ sound

Then we wrote questions.

Math time... these Kindergarten Mathematicians can build tens and ones for any number that I give them!

I love this picture because this was the day AFTER the field trip and the kids are all listening to a book from the show! In the morning... before school even starts... voluntarily! ;)
